Jennifer DeGeorge started Moonlight Weavings & Designs in her home studio in Underhill, as a mother of two when her only time to weave was mostly when the kids were asleep, birthing the name Moonlight. Formally a painter and printmaker, her love of fiber was pulling her towards weaving for many years. She is a self-taught weaver with a deep love for color and texture. Her weavings combine wools, hemp, jute, silks, flax, recycled Indian silk saris and many other materials. Weaving has been a channel to create art that culminates with her life’s experiences, journeys, roads traveled, things learned.  They are her dances.
